Updates

School is almost upon us!! I hope everyone is ready for the new year. We added a song of the week and a poll to the blog. Every Tuesday night these will be changed so listen to the song and vote! If you have any questions that you want to be used as a poll just post it on the blog or email either Lauren W. at goalietackler@gmail.com or me at laurasipes@gmail.com . Also, if you want to nominate a song for song of the week just let us know.

It seems we are having some problems with everyone being able to post so I will be inviting everyone to be a basic administrator to the blog. Check your email for the link to really be part of the blog. If you don't get the email or have any questions, just email me at laurasipes@gmail.com

Hannah is having her go away party on Aug. 1 from 2-5pm. It is at 4218 Scotland lane, Wilm NC 28409. If you get lost the phone number is 910 - 791 - 5336. She would like everyone to bring a letter to bring for her with advice, reminisance, etc.

Hannah has just recieved a full ride to Hotchkiss, which is a boarding school. She has decided to go and We will miss you Hannah!!! Do great things!!!!

More on Acquire the Fire

The next acquire the fire is March 19 - 20, 2010. The cheapest seats are $42 each at 2 months registration. Plus we will need transportation, food, hotel, and might/probably need chaporones. So 15 seats would be $630 alone. Hotel would be a lot too. I am going to ask my youth intern tomarrow if we can go along with my church. It would probably be cheaper. Any comments are welcome.

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!

I hope everyone has a great summer!!! Don't forget to keep checking our blog for updates on meetings and fundraising activities. That is if we can organize something to help us raise money. So if you have any fundraising ideas to help us attend Acquire the Fire 2010, just post them.
